Una nuova edizione che celebra il 40° anniversario dell’album d’esordio dei FGTH realizzata in collaborazione con la band; contiene 28 brani inediti e accompagna l'ascoltatore in un viaggio che parte dai primi demo e dalle sessioni di BBC Radio One, passando per i singoli, fino all'album ed hai vari remix dei brani più celebri. Ogni CD contiene versioni rare e, nella maggior parte dei casi, inedite di brani che rappresentano un punto di riferimento per la musica degli anni '80.
Steven Wilson collabora alla produzione con un mix Atmos, mix Stereo e 5.1 per il Blu-Ray mentre il booklet è stato realizzato da Philip Marshall con rare foto, memorabilia e una cronologia dell'ascesa alla fama della band con testimonianze raccolte tra tutti i membri dei Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Le edizioni 2CD e 2LP contengono una scelta dei brani con gli highlight del cofanetto, il doppio CD ha un nuovo artwork con sfondo nero.
